Walls were base coated in blue latex paint and the faux painted using a series of colored glazes. Planets were scaled according to size and glow in the dark star accents were added to the walls and ceiling. A mock spaceship was constructed using metal 2 x 4′s and sheet metal. A control panel inside ship controls accent lighting throughout the room. 3D asteroid projects from one wall and a short ‘moon rock’ wall completes the theme.
